Is there a full visual PDF editor?
Yes. Edit PDF → Visual editor opens each page on a canvas. You can add text, add images, move/resize them, manage a layer list (front/back), step through pages, and Download PDF. The original page is the background; new objects sit on layers on top.
Can I type into a PDF like Word?
Yes. In Edit PDF → Type like Word, the tool pulls text out of your PDF into a free typing area (bold, lists, etc.). You can rewrite it and Download as PDF. Layout is reflowed as a clean document (not a pixel-perfect copy of the original pages). There is also a Pages mode for reorder, rotate, delete, blank pages, and text stamps.
Will compressing reduce quality?
Compression trades some image detail for a smaller file. For scans and photo-heavy PDFs the size drop is usually large with little visible change; for text-only PDFs the savings are smaller. Keep your original if you need maximum quality.
Privacy & limits
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All conversion and PDF editing happens in your browser on your own device — your files are never uploaded. That keeps documents private and works even on slow connections.
Is there a size limit?
There's no fixed server limit because nothing is uploaded, but because the work runs on your device, very large files or huge batches use more memory and take longer. If a big job struggles, try splitting it into smaller batches.
