Anyone checking scanned labels against a list they were handed: dock work confirming a load matches the manifest, a stocktake ticking off handling units as they are found, or a despatch check catching a pallet that has been scanned twice before the truck leaves. It is built for the awkward middle ground where the official system is slow to query but the list still has to be verified item by item.

An HU is a handling unit identifier used on warehouse labels. Exact formats are site-specific. This checker is a browser helper for list reconciliation — it does not replace your WMS rules, EDI, or inventory system of record.
The expected list, your scan progress, the hunt list and the checkbox settings are all kept in this browser on this device, using local storage. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, which is why the tool works on a warehouse tablet with patchy signal and why nobody else can see what you are counting.
The trade is that the count is tied to the browser you started it in. Switching devices, opening the page in a private window, or clearing your browser data will lose the progress. If a count has to survive a shift change or move between people, export the PDF before handing over rather than expecting the next person to pick up where you left off.
Loading the list and then reloading the page, which starts the count again — progress is kept in this browser, so use the same tab and the same device for the whole job. Assuming a scan that beeps has been matched is the second; the result line distinguishes a match from a duplicate from something not on the list at all, and the three sound different for exactly that reason. The third is clearing the list to "start fresh" mid-count when only the hunt list needed clearing.
Leave Auto-load on paste on when you are pasting a list from a report, and turn Auto enter on when you are working with a hardware scanner that does not send a return character of its own. Build the hunt list as you go for anything you need to chase later, then export the PDF at the end rather than writing missing units on paper. Check the running counts periodically rather than only at the end — noticing a duplicate at unit twelve is far cheaper than discovering it at unit ninety.
Scan results are announced in text as well as by sound, so the tool remains usable with the volume down or in a loud warehouse where the beep will not be heard. The matched, missing, duplicate and not-in-list groups are separate labelled lists rather than colour-coded rows, so the status of an item does not depend on distinguishing colours. The scan field takes focus on load, which suits a hardware scanner that types into whatever is focused.
The expected list, your scan progress, the hunt list and your settings are stored in this browser on this device and are never uploaded. Nothing you scan is transmitted, which matters when the labels belong to a customer's stock. The trade is that the count is tied to this browser: clearing site data or switching devices loses it.
