RSVP — FAQ

Shared yes/no RSVPs with names and an admin edit link.

Basics

What does this tool do?
Create an event page with a title, details, date/time/timezone, and optional location. Share the public link with guests. They enter their name and choose Yes, Maybe, or No. Everyone can see who’s coming (and who isn’t).
What are the two links?
Can someone change their RSVP?
Yes. On the same browser, they can change Yes / Maybe / No (and fix their name). That browser stays locked to one person so people can’t spam extra names.
Can one browser add more than one person?
No. Each browser can only RSVP as one guest for that event. Another person should use a different phone, computer, or browser profile. Admins can still remove spam entries if needed.
Who can remove an RSVP?
Guests can only remove their own reply (same browser), with the “Remove my RSVP” button. They cannot remove anyone else. Only the person with the admin link can remove other people’s names from the list.
Where is data stored?
On the server, only for that event id — enough so everyone sees the same guest list. No accounts. Don’t put private secrets in the event details.
Is there a “Maybe” option?
Yes. Guests can choose Yes, Maybe, or No. Counts at the top update live after each reply.
